Huge Gain of Free Time

On a night flight from Berlin back to Nuremberg this week I saw lot of small lights (cars) on the freeway A9 -- steadily moving along the same (for me invisible) track, like thousands of ants.
I conceived every single car having a human driver sitting behind the steering wheel, being forced to

• stay awake
• stay focused on the monotonous process of driving

not being able to

• read something
• use a notebook
• sleep.

And I inevitably imagined how much time we would gain --free time-- when we will have the technology to securely drive cars by computers.
